Arturia DrumBrute Impact

An all-analog drum machine at a price that used to buy a toy. Ten voices — kick, snares, hats, toms and the rest — each with real knobs, plus a per-track colour drive that pushes sounds from polite to properly rude.

The sequencer is the strong half: 64 steps, polyrhythms per track, swing per track, pattern chaining. It rewards playing live — track mutes and fills make arrangement a performance rather than an edit.

Four individual outs cover the sounds you'll actually process separately; the rest ride the mix bus. It syncs to anything over MIDI, clock or USB. What it will not do: samples. This machine makes its own sounds or none.
