The compact monitoring Beyerdynamic: closed back, 45 Ω, 194 g. A small, honest tracking headphone for people who record at a desk rather than in a machine room — podcasters, home producers, streamers.

The 45 Ω load runs properly from laptops and phones, and the detachable cable comes with a USB-C adapter for jack-less devices. It gives up the last degree of refinement to the bigger DTs and charges accordingly. As a first serious monitor, hard to argue with.

Our take
The cheapest way onto our Beyerdynamic wall that we would still call a monitor. If the budget stretches, the DT 700 PRO X buys a bigger driver and long-session comfort; if it doesn't, this does the job without complaint.
