The DT 770 rebuilt for loud places: same closed housing, retuned for isolation. Softskin earpads and a stronger spring clamp shut out around 35 dB(A) of stage — enough to track drums without the kit drowning the click.

Made for drummers and front-of-house engineers. The single-sided 3 m cable carries an inline volume control, and at 80 Ω it runs from any console or interface headphone output.

Be honest with yourself about the clamp: the grip that seals out a snare at one metre is firmer than you want for a lazy Sunday. For desk work, take a DT 770 PRO instead.

Our take
The M trades comfort for isolation, and behind a drum kit that is the right trade. Everywhere else it isn't — mixing, editing and couch listening belong to the DT 770 PRO 80 Ω. Buy this one for the job, not the spec sheet.
