A factory connecting cord from Beyerdynamic's K 100 series — the cables built for the classic DT 100 family of studio and broadcast headphones, where the cable locks into the earcup and is treated as a wear part you replace, not a fault you tolerate.
Beyerdynamic encodes length and termination in the digits after the dot, so match this part number against the cord you are replacing — it is printed on the sleeve — or against your headphone's spare-parts sheet.
If yours is a DT 108 or DT 109 headset rather than a plain headphone, you likely want a K 109 cord instead, so the microphone lines are carried too.
Our take
Genuine cords cost more than a soldered bodge and outlast three of them. Check the sleeve print on your old cable before ordering — if it says K 109-anything, buy the K 109 instead.
