A genuine Beyerdynamic part sold under the designation MKV 87, factory number 459356. It comes from the professional side of the catalogue, where individual pieces stay available for years so equipment can be maintained instead of retired.
We will be straight with you: the listing carries no more detail than the designation, so the part number is the thing to match. If your parts sheet, service manual or old component says MKV 87 or 459356, this is your piece.
Anything less certain than that, write to us first with the equipment it belongs to — confirming a part is a two-minute job at this end.
Our take
A match-the-number purchase, same as the MA-CL shelf beside it. When the number matches, genuine beats near-enough every time.
