Dekoni's own headphone: a closed-back dynamic with a 50 mm driver, built on a HiFiMan chassis and finished by the pad specialists — so it ships, unsurprisingly, with excellent earpads and a proper cable in the box.

The pitch is comfort-first closed listening. Dekoni spends its whole existence on the interface between headphone and head, and the Cobalt is that thinking applied to a complete product: an easy, long-session closed can for the desk and the commute rather than a studio tool.

One caveat: it is a one-model line from a pad company, so treat pad availability as its superpower and expect third-party opinions to be thinner on the ground than for a Beyerdynamic.

Our take
It slots between the DT 770 PRO and the DT 1770 Pro on our closed-back shelf. The Beyers win on studio pedigree and spares folklore; the Cobalt is the one that feels best straight out of the box — designed pads-first, and it shows.
