A one-piece stereo speaker in a proper wooden cabinet: both channels, the amplifier, and the Bluetooth receiver live in a single box behind a retro grille. One power lead, one shelf, done.

It suits the places separates never fit — kitchen counter, office shelf, bedside. The cabinet does real acoustic work at this price, which is why the D12 sounds bigger than its footprint suggests.

Physics still applies: stereo from one box means the left-right image stays close to the cabinet. Fine for a room you move around in; if you sit in one spot and listen, a genuine pair like the M60 is the better spend. Brown, white, or black.

Our take
The best-looking way we stock to put music in a kitchen. Just don't ask one cabinet to do a listening chair's job — that's what speaker pairs are for.
