The top of Edifier's gaming line and, quietly, a serious powered pair: 88 W combined, full-size cabinets, sold as a pair, with the angular styling and lighting the category demands. Strip the aesthetics and what remains is a lot of genuine speaker.

At this level it is enough for music as the main event in a small room, not just game audio at a desk — Bluetooth and wired inputs cover whichever machine is playing.

Cross-shop it deliberately. Similar outlay buys monitor-shaped alternatives with flatter tuning; the G5000 answers with punchier voicing, everything built in, and the look. Know which argument wins you before ordering.

Our take

If the lights and angles do nothing for you, a pair of Adam T5Vs at similar money is tuned flatter and will outlast the aesthetic. If they do, the G5000 is the fun pick — and it is genuinely well made.
