Edifier MR3

A monitor-shaped desktop pair at a hobbyist price: flat-leaning tuning, an 18 W rating, Bluetooth alongside wired input, sold as a pair. Edifier's MR line borrows the studio playbook — plain baffles, tone kept level — without pretending to be reference equipment.

For a student desk running a DAW, a bedroom production setup, or anyone who wants speakers voiced closer to neutral than lifestyle boxes allow, the MR3 is the sensible floor.

Its limits are the honest kind: small cabinets, modest output, tuning that is flat-ish rather than flat. Serious mixing eventually wants a T5V-class monitor pair and a treated corner — but everyone starts somewhere, and this is a good somewhere.
