The all-rounder of Edifier's wood-box range: a powered pair with the front baffle angled up at seated ears, Bluetooth, twin RCA inputs and a line-level subwoofer output.

66 W total and a warmer, fuller balance than the R1280 family — and the tilt makes it unusually good at desk-edge or low-shelf placement, where flat-faced boxes fire at your elbows.

Sold as a pair with remote, joined by plain speaker wire. Line inputs only; a turntable needs its own phono stage on the way in.

Our take
When someone asks for one wooden Edifier without a spec conversation, this is the one we hand over: sub out for later, tilt for real rooms, remote for the sofa. The R1280DB undercuts it; this outclasses it.
