The top of Edifier's classic bookshelf line: 120 W across the pair, optical and RCA inputs plus Bluetooth, and a remote. This is the R-series speaker built to be the main system, not the second one.

It keeps the family's warm tilt but adds genuine authority — volume without strain, and enough low end that most rooms will never miss a subwoofer. Give it a real shelf or stands and some space and it fills a living room without help.

Sold as a pair. As across the whole range, inputs are line-level: a turntable needs a built-in or external phono stage first.

Our take
The point in the catalogue where the upgrade itch should stop for most rooms. Past this you are into S-series or Adam money and the gains get subtler — the R2000DB is the knee of the curve.
