Top of the wooden-box line: a large three-way powered pair for people furnishing a room with sound rather than dotting a desk with it.

Over the R2750DB MKII you are buying cabinet volume and composure — the sense that loud passages stay organised. Bluetooth and wired line inputs, the family's warm, unforced balance.

Sold as a pair. In a small room it is wasted — the R2750DB MKII or R2000DB will do the same job for less shelf and less money — and vinyl needs a phono stage upstream, as with the whole range.

Our take
Only the size of the room justifies it: big space, big pair, easy decision. Everyone else should take the R2750DB MKII and spend the rest on music.
