The only true-wireless set on our Edifier shelf with active noise cancelling. Bluetooth in-ears with a charging case and built-in microphone, in Ivory or Black.

The ANC is real but modest — it softens commuter rumble rather than building a wall, and it depends on fit: take a minute with the tip sizes or the seal never happens.

For calls and podcasts on public transport at minimal outlay, this is the pick of our three Edifier buds. Music-first listeners with more to spend should consider wired in-ears — an IE 200 is a different conversation.

Our take

The best of our three Edifier buds and the only ones with ANC. If you sit still while you listen and the budget stretches to wired, an IE 200 embarrasses this whole shelf — but then you're tethered.
