A dedicated tonearm cable: straight 5-pin DIN at the arm end, RCA plugs at the phono stage, 1.2 m between them. This lead carries the smallest signal in your system — everything the cartridge makes passes through it before any amplification.

Built the Furutech way: properly plated contacts, serious shielding, no drama. The straight DIN suits arms whose socket points down from the arm base or plinth.

Check your arm's socket before ordering — if it exits sideways or clearance is tight, you want the AG-12-L with the angled plug, same cable otherwise. Moving-coil owners benefit most: MC output is tiny enough that contacts and shielding genuinely matter here.

Our take

If you're running a Hana or similar MC into a good stage, this is a sane place for the money — the phono lead is where cable quality is least arguable. On a starter deck with a built-in stage it's wasted.
