Furutech's spade connector without the NCF additive: rhodium-plated contact, carbon-fibre body, two per set. For terminating speaker cable that deserves better than bare strands.

The case for spades over bananas is contact area and clamping force — wired once, torqued down, forgotten. The case against is convenience; if the system gets rearranged monthly, look at the CF-202 bananas instead.

Arithmetic first: two conductors per cable end, so a stereo run fully terminated at both ends is eight spades — four sets.

Our take
The honest pick of the spade pair — the NCF version's ceramic is a belief purchase, the rhodium and the clamp are not. Put the saving toward another metre of decent cable.
