Rhodium-plated banana plugs in the silver carbon-fibre-and-NCF housing, two per set, for speaker-cable termination.

Bananas are the practical termination: push in, pull out, no binding-post ceremony. Systems that get rearranged, compared or moved choose bananas; permanent installs argue for the CF-201 spades and their larger contact area.

Two per set — a stereo run terminated at both ends needs eight plugs, four sets. Mixing is legitimate: plenty of builders run spades at the amp and bananas at the speakers.

Our take
If you swap speakers more than once a year, these beat spades on pure quality of life. The non-NCF CF-202(R) does the same mechanical job for less — this version is for those already sold on the NCF compound.
