Hana S MKII MC Cartridge

Hana's mid-range moving coil, renewed: the MKII keeps the Shibata stylus that made the original's name and upgrades the body and motor around it. The Shibata profile pulls detail out of the groove wall that conical and elliptical tips glide past, and it is kinder to worn records than its reputation suggests.

Pick by your phono stage, not by ambition. The SL (0.4 mV) is the better cartridge but needs a dedicated MC input or step-up; the SH (2 mV) plugs into any standard MM phono input and gives up only a little. Standard half-inch mount — it fits any conventional headshell or arm, not fixed-cartridge automatics.
