HiFiMan Sundara Closed-Back

The Sundara's planar driver sealed behind wood-veneer cups, for everyone whose listening happens in rooms other people also use. Offices, shared flats, late nights next to a sleeping partner — the familiar Sundara detail without broadcasting it.

At 20 Ω and 98 dB it is genuinely easy to drive: straight from a laptop or phone dongle, no amplifier required. That makes it the rare planar you can treat as plug-and-go.

Know before buying: sealing any planar costs a little of the open version's airiness, and at 432 g it is the heaviest Sundara. Passive isolation is good; it is not noise cancelling.
