The wireless KPH7: the same ultralight on-ear shape Koss has sold for years, cut loose from the cable with Bluetooth and a built-in microphone for calls.
It is the cheap, cheerful, no-ceremony headphone — slim band, soft pads, nothing to adjust — now without a cord to catch on a bag strap.
Battery-powered means it eventually needs charging, which the wired KPH7 never does. If you want the sound for the least money, buy the wired one; buy this one only if the cable is the thing you actually dislike.
Our take
The radio is most of the price difference against the wired KPH7. Worth it only if cables genuinely bother you — the sound is the same modest, likeable Koss either way.
