A wired on-ear for around the house: light headband, cushioned pads, and a 3.5 mm plug into the TV box, the laptop, the keyboard amp — anything with a jack.
The on-ear fit keeps it compact; the price keeps the decision easy. It suits short sessions and shared households where headphones migrate between rooms and owners.
Past the hour mark, on-ear pressure becomes a real thing. Long-evening listeners should step to an over-ear instead.
Our take
Same money as the UR20 on this shelf, and the UR20's cups go around the ear rather than sitting on it. Unless compactness is the point, take the UR20.
