Nagaoka's DJ cartridge, sold ready to work: pre-mounted on a standard headshell, high output, a spherical tip that shrugs off back-cueing, and a suspension built for abuse a home cartridge never sees. Twist it onto the arm, set the force, work.

It's a moving magnet, so it runs into any standard MM phono input — DJ mixers included. Half-inch mount on the headshell, and the stylus is replaceable (JN-PDJ-03HD), which is the point: work cartridges are consumables, and this one is built so only the tip gets consumed.

Our take
For actual DJ work it's the tank we'd pick. For sit-down listening the MP-110 reads more out of the groove for similar money — buy by job, not by looks.
