A flat-profile dynamic made to hang in front of a guitar cab by its own cable — no stand, no fuss, capsule sitting right on-axis. Supercardioid pickup keeps the rest of the room out, and a three-position presence switch shifts the voicing from soft to biting before you ever touch an EQ.

Guitarists record with it, live techs hang it, drummers borrow it for snare, and brass players stopped arguing with it years ago. Dynamic capsule, so no phantom power needed and stage volume does not scare it.

Bring your own XLR cable; if you would rather put it on a stand, the clip is in the box.

Our take
On a cab next to an SM57: the 906 sounds close to mixed straight off the mic and hangs where the 57 needs a stand. The 57 is still the better all-rounder — the 906 is the better cab mic.
