Shure SM7DB

An SM7B with the gain problem solved at the factory: the same capsule and body, plus a built-in active preamp designed around this exact mic. Feed it 48 V phantom power from any ordinary interface and the quiet-output complaint that follows the SM7B around simply disappears.

It is for people who want the broadcast sound on a modest interface without adding an inline booster or outboard preamp to the shopping list. The boost is switchable between two levels, and a bypass mode turns it back into a stock SM7B if a serious preamp arrives later.

Same yoke mount, same close-talk manners as the original.
