Sony LinkBuds Clip

Sony's open answer to earbud fatigue: a small unit that grips the rim of your ear, leaving the canal empty. The room stays audible — doorbells, colleagues, announcements — with your audio layered over the top. Microphones are built in, so calls work without reaching for the phone.

Best for long wear: open-plan days, errands, kitchens, anywhere sealed buds get pulled out every few minutes. The honest limit is physics — no seal means modest bass and no real quiet, so commuters chasing silence should buy sealed instead. The Clip comes in several finishes; inside they are the same earphone, so choose by look.
