An interface built for multichannel speaker rooms: calibrated outputs for layouts up to 9.1.6, Sonarworks SoundID room correction running inside the hardware, and monitor control designed around Atmos-style mixing. Two Audient Class A preamps handle the occasional overdub; ADAT and optional Dante grow the I/O.

It is aimed at post-production and music rooms working in surround and 3D formats, where each speaker needs its own level, delay, and EQ — jobs that otherwise take a rack of processors and an afternoon of wiring.

For stereo rooms it is the wrong tool at any budget; the calibration only earns its cost when there are many speakers to herd.

Our take
There is no stereo argument for it — an iD44 plus NERO covers a two-speaker room for far less. But if you are wiring an Atmos room, the per-speaker calibration replaces a rack of kit and a consultant.
