A rim-mount holder for Austrian Audio's OD-series drum microphones. It clamps to the hoop of a tom or snare and puts the mic exactly where a boom stand cannot reach — inside the kit, out of the drummer's way, holding its aim through a full set of hits.
Around a drum kit, every stand you remove is one fewer thing to trip over, knock out of position, or carry into the venue. Rim mounts pay for themselves at the first load-in.
Fit note: it is made for the Austrian Audio OD series. Check your microphones before ordering — other brands use their own clips.
Our take
Stands drift mid-set; rim clamps don't. If you are miking toms with OD5s, buy one per drum and stop re-aiming microphones between songs.
