The closed PRO X: Beyerdynamic's STELLAR.45 driver at 48 Ω, which finally means one headphone that performs from a laptop, a phone and a studio interface alike. Tracking, editing, noisy rooms — anywhere the outside world needs keeping out and the click needs keeping in.

Detachable locking mini-XLR cable — two lengths in the box — replaceable pads, and the build quality Beyerdynamic never learned to compromise on. Every wear part is a spare part.

Our take
Closed-back sibling of the DT 900 PRO X — same 48 Ω STELLAR.45 driver, runs properly from anything. Pick this one for tracking and noisy rooms; the 900 X if the room is quiet and you want the open stage.
