The open PRO X — same 48 Ω STELLAR.45 driver as the 700, in an open back for mixing in quiet rooms. Runs properly from anything with a jack, which no classic 250 Ω Beyerdynamic ever managed.

Velour pads, detachable locking mini-XLR cable in two lengths, replaceable everything. Open back means the room hears you and you hear it — plan the room accordingly. The sensible modern answer to the question of which Beyerdynamic to buy first.

The PRO X pair solves the impedance question: 48 Ω STELLAR.45 driver runs properly from a laptop or an interface. 900 X is open (mixing, room noise acceptable), 700 X is closed (tracking, isolation). Detachable mini-XLR cable.
