The modernised DT 770: classic closed housing, new STELLAR.45 driver at 48 Ω, and — for the first time on a 770 — a detachable locking mini-XLR cable. One version, one impedance, loud enough from a laptop and composed from a proper interface.

It keeps the parts economy that makes 770s immortal: standard 770-size pads, replaceable headband and sliders. If the classic three-impedance choice paralyses you, this is the version that removes the question.

Our take

Detachable cable and one sensible impedance — this is the DT 770 for people who want the classic without the homework. If it never leaves an amped desk, the 250 Ω PRO resolves a touch tighter for less; everyone else is better served here.
