The TG D57's sibling: the same miniature-condenser clip-on idea aimed at percussion — congas, bongos, cajon and friends — where a drum-kit rim clamp is not the right grip. Gooseneck positioning, condenser detail, no stand in anyone's way.

For percussionists on stage and in rehearsal rooms who are tired of borrowed boom stands drifting out of position mid-set. As a condenser it needs 48 V phantom power.

If it is a standard kit with hooped drums you are miking, look at the TG D57 first — the mounting is the real difference between the two.

Our take
Same capsule thinking as the TG D57 — pick by what you clamp it to. Kit drums with hoops: D57. Hand percussion: this one.
