The 5-pin DIN plug that lives at the base of a tonearm. If you are building or re-terminating a tonearm-to-phono cable, this is the critical end: rhodium-plated pins and a carbon fiber body around the smallest signal in the house.

Check your arm first — tonearm DIN plugs come straight and angled, and the clearance under your arm's base decides which you need. And if soldering five pins onto shielded phono cable sounds like a lost evening, Furutech's ready-made AG-12 lead exists for good reason.
