HiFiMan Ananda Unveiled

HiFiMan's "Unveiled" treatment on the Ananda: magnet arrays exposed to air on both sides, nothing at all between diaphragm and room. The payoff is an openness ordinary open-backs only gesture at — sound sits in space around you rather than between your ears.

The cost is practical. It leaks in both directions even more than a normal open-back and offers no protection from a noisy room. This is a quiet-room, dedicated-chair headphone, full stop.

If your listening happens with a household around you, the Ananda Nano keeps most of the resolution with normal manners.
