The 2.5 mm twist-lock connector for the Sennheiser HD 599, HD 569, HD 560S and HD 559. Sennheiser carried the HD 500-series fitting over, so this is the same plug the HD 598 generation takes. Sold singly: one plug covers the whole cable.

Single entry, both channels through the one plug. Wire it stereo — tip left, ring right, sleeve common — then insert and quarter-turn to lock.

Our take
These lock with a quarter turn. If a new cable pops out under its own weight, the collar is not seated — it is not the plug.
