A locking foam windscreen for the SM57. It screws down over the grille, so it stays put on podiums, lecterns and stages where a push-on foam wanders off mid-speech.

The job is plosives and wind. A bare 57 pops on every hard P at speech distance; behind this it does not. It also keeps spit and dust out of the grille, which is why the 57s on official podiums always wear one.

Fits the SM57 and 545 bodies only — it is not a Beta or SM58 accessory. Grey.

Our take
If a 57 does any speech duty at your venue, this is the cheapest problem-remover on our shelves. For instrument work, skip it — the bare grille keeps a touch more top end on snare and cabs.
