Shure Motiv MV88+

A stereo condenser that plugs straight into a phone — and this is the Video Kit, so the Manfrotto PIXI tripod, phone clamp and mic mount come along. Mic on the front, phone in the clamp, and you have a self-contained rig for interviews, gigs and location video.

Output is digital over USB-C or Lightning; the MOTIV app sets stereo width, gain and pickup pattern. Recordings land on the phone, not on a memory card.

Know before buying: the 3.5 mm jack is for headphone monitoring only — there is no XLR or analogue mic output, so it cannot feed a camera or mixer. It is a phone microphone, and a very good one.
