Austrian Audio OCP8 Pop Filter

A metal-mesh pop filter that clips straight onto Austrian Audio's OC-series shockmounts — no gooseneck clamped to the stand, no arm drooping into frame halfway through a session.

It does the one job: kills plosives before they hit the capsule, without the top-end dulling that cheap nylon screens add. Metal mesh also wipes clean, which matters more than anyone admits after a month of shared-studio vocals.

The catch is also the point: it fits the OC-series mounts, so check what your mic hangs in before ordering. On anything else, you're back to a conventional clamp filter.
