Austrian Audio OC818 Dual Set Plus (Black)

The matched OC818 pair in the all-black finish: same handmade CKR12 capsules, same dual outputs that let you change the polar pattern after the take, same mounts and case — minus anything that glints on camera.

Scoring stages, video-forward studios and broadcast rooms pick black for a reason: it disappears against acoustic panelling and looks intentional in the wide shot.

Everything else matches the silver set. Budget four phantom-powered channels to record both capsules of both mics, and the OCR8 remote works from the floor. Buy on looks — the electronics don't know what colour they are.
