A Bluetooth module that clips the OC818 to your phone: polar pattern, pad and high-pass filter adjusted from the PolarPilot app, from wherever you happen to be standing — usually the listening position, the only place those decisions are worth making.

It earns its keep the moment a mic goes somewhere inconvenient: over a drum kit, in the ceiling above a choir, behind a screen on a film stage.

OC818 only — the OC18 and OC16 have fixed patterns, so there is no pattern for it to change. Running a pair means one module per mic.

Our take
Sounds like a gadget until you've climbed a ladder to flip a pad switch twice in one session. For a stereo pair rigged overhead it isn't a luxury — it's the difference between adjusting and re-rigging.
