A dynamic clip-on for snare, toms and percussion from Beyerdynamic's TG stage line. The clamp grips the drum rim, the capsule sits where you aim it, and no boom stand clutters the kit. Heilbronn-built to be hit — sooner or later it will be.

For drummers and small venues wiring a kit without a forest of stands. Being a dynamic it takes close-up drum levels without complaint and needs no phantom power — any preamp channel will do.

It is a workhorse, not a detail mic. Cymbals and hi-hat want a condenser like the TG I53. One per tom, one on the snare, done.

Our take
Does the same rim-clip job as Sennheiser's e 604 for noticeably less. The e 604 has decades of roadie goodwill behind it; the TG D35 is the quiet value pick on our drum shelf.
