Beyerdynamic True condenser microphone set

A factory-matched stereo pair of the MC 930 small-diaphragm condenser. Matched is the operative word: the two capsules track each other in sensitivity and response, which is what clean stereo imaging actually rests on.

For drum overheads, grand piano, choir and ensemble recording — the classic paired-pencil-mic jobs. Both mics carry switchable low-cut and pre-attenuation, and both need 48 V phantom, so your interface wants two proper mic channels.

If you only need one spot mic, start with a single MC 930. The set exists for stereo discipline, and that is where the money goes.
