One MIDI input dispatched to multiple isolated thru outputs — that is the whole product, and it fixes what the daisy chain quietly causes: timing slop accumulating at every hop, and one unplugged cable taking down half the studio. Isolation on the outputs also keeps ground hum from riding the MIDI lines into your audio.

Buy it when the third MIDI device arrives; that is when chains start misbehaving. Mount it behind the desk and forget it exists — for a utility box, that is the highest praise available.

Our take
Unglamorous and correct: the moment three or more boxes share one clock, an isolated thru unit beats any daisy chain on timing alone. The kind of purchase that ends a problem permanently.
