Five chromatically tuned stereo delay lines — ten Karplus-Strong resonators — behind a +24 dB analog gain stage, a resonant low-pass and a compressor. Feed it drums, synths, guitar, voice; it answers with the resonance of strings, bodies and rooms, tuned to notes you choose. The tunings are playable over MIDI, which makes it as much instrument as effect.

All twelve parameters respond to MIDI and presets live on board, so it is far more stage-usable than the concept suggests.

Nobody needs a Razornator. That is largely the point — this is the box for a sound the rest of the shelf does not have.

Our take
An effect that behaves like an instrument — drums through tuned resonators is a signature sound in one patch. Choosing one Erica FX box for general duty, take the Nightverb; choose this to sound like nobody else.
