Sixteen endless push encoders with velocity sensing and RGB rings, in a 106 mm square tile that snaps magnetically to other Grid modules and runs the whole chain from one USB-C.

This is the bank of knobs your software is missing: DAW mixer channels, plugin pages, a soft-synth editor. Endless encoders mean no value jumps when you switch banks, and the Grid Editor — or Lua, if you go deep — decides what every ring and push does.

It shows up as a normal USB MIDI device, so it works with anything class-compliant. There is no DIN socket on the tile; hardware rigs need a Knot between Grid and synth.

Our take
The encoder tile is where to start a Grid — knobs are what software always runs short of. If it clicks, add a TEK2-M and you have a small control surface for less than most name-brand one-piece units.
