The midfield of the A-range: two 7-inch MLM woofers run as a three-way behind the X-ART tweeter, in a horizontal cabinet with serious output at serious distance. Room adaptation and A Control DSP are on board, same as the rest of the series.

This is for rooms where the listening position sits beyond arm's reach and a nearfield runs out of breath. At a desk it's wasted — the A7V does that job for much less money.

Sold per piece. Budget for two, plus stands that can carry a wide horizontal cabinet properly.

Our take
Between this and the A8H pair: the A77H gives you midfield output for considerably less, the A8H adds the dedicated midrange and mirrored imaging. For a project control room stepping up from nearfields, the A77H is the sane pick — per piece, so a pair is two.
