Four polyphonic sequencer tracks, sixteen patterns each, every track with its own CV/gate set — and track one doubles as a 24-part drum sequencer with eight dedicated gates. The KeyStep Pro conducts a full modular-and-drum-machine table from 37 slim aftertouch keys.

It suits the hardware-first producer arranging whole pieces away from the computer: drums on one, bass on two, chords and lead on three and four, with mutes and pattern chains as the performance. Two MIDI outputs keep the non-CV gear in the same conversation.

The keys are slim and the footprint deliberate — this is a conductor, not a piano. Black Edition finish; the internals match the standard model.

Our take
Against the BeatStep Pro it's keys versus pads: play parts in, buy this; think in steps, buy that. Four CV tracks make it the deeper modular brain of the two.
