A factory-matched pair of CC8 small-diaphragm condensers with a stereo bar, clips, windshields, and a case. The matching is the product: two capsules selected to behave identically, so drum overheads, piano, and string sections image precisely instead of drifting to one side.

Setup takes minutes — bar on one stand, X/Y or spaced, done. Both mics are cardioid and need 48 V phantom power, so plan on an interface or preamp with two phantom-fed inputs.

If your work is spot-miking single sources, the single CC8 covers it; the set is for anyone who records in stereo often enough to own a piano or a drum kit.
