Beyerdynamic DT 990 PRO 80 ohms

The open-back counterpart to the DT 770 — airy stage, present treble, the mixing-room classic. The 80 Ω version runs happily from interfaces and decent laptop outputs, no separate amp required.

Open means zero isolation, both directions: it leaks and it lets the room in. For a quiet room of your own it is a lot of headphone for the money. Velour pads and replaceable parts throughout.
