Eight channels of AD conversion onto one ADAT lightpipe: eight line-level TRS inputs, 24-bit conversion up to 96 kHz, one optical cable to your interface. The input expander for the AudioFuse 16Rig — or any interface with a spare ADAT port.

Its home turf is line-level gear: synths, drum machines, outboard returns. A whole hardware wall goes into the computer through a single cable, with no channels sacrificed on the main interface.

Match the sample rate on both ends — ADAT is unforgiving about clocking, and 96 kHz operation changes the channel count math on lightpipe.

Our take
Buy it to get a synth rig into the computer in one cable. If the eight extra channels you actually need are microphones, buy the Audient EVO SP8 instead — preamps plus conversion over the same ADAT port.
